Hi! It’s Risa!
I’m a certified art educator, an analog collage artist, and a lifelong learner rooted in the belief that art and education should be accessible to every single person. Growing up with parents who highly valued education, I’ve developed a deep respect for learning and a commitment to advocating for every student’s right to it.
Outside the classroom, I’m an active analog collage artist, selling and exhibiting work throughout the Atlanta area, where my creative practice continues to inform how I teach, connect, and move through the world!
Over the years, I’ve worked across YMCA programs, preschools, public school systems, and community studios, always centering authentic connection and community care in my work. Whether I’m teaching, mentoring, or creating art, I aim to build spaces where people feel seen, inspired, and empowered to grow.
